Rick Tanner's Grille & Bar - The Look, The Feel...



In 1986, after many years in the restaurant business with major chains, Rick Tanner created and began to grow a chicken rotisserie concept in Atlanta Georgia. Soon after Rick opened his first location, Rick called up his long time friend "CT" and together they grew Tanners into a successful concept. With a menu featuring whole rotisserie chicken, world famous chicken fingers, ribs, sandwiches, large salads, home-made veggies etc... They both have always insisted that all items be prepared from scratch. Whether customer enter the restaurant to dine in, get the product to go, or have a an order delivered as part of a catering package, Tanners wants to provide the highest quality food and make a customer's busy life easy. The simple truth is that "Life is too Hard, so Eat Good!"


The Coca-Cola signs on the wall... the televisions set turned to local sports teams... comfortable atmosphere... and comfort food, all key ingredients to Tanner's success as a casual dining restaurant. Each restaurant looks local; there is no chain feel here. Rick says that: "My restaurants will always serve "real food" and be the friendliest place in town."


The kitchen area is efficient and designed to do $1000 - $2000 per hour in sales. The seating is divided to have a feel of comfort intimacy, yet convenient to the waitstaff. An outdoor patio usually seats 30 and is a feature of all Tanner's locations that adds to the casual feel.
